Daylight as the
organising system.

Architecture and interiors for a three-storey home for a multigenerational family. An internal court and skylights bring daylight deep into the plan, while overhangs and perforated metal screens temper direct sun.

My role: Lead designer + documentation lead
Scope: Architecture and interior design, from concept through construction documentation, consultant coordination and site delivery
Materials: Reclaimed timber, stone and crafted metalwork

02 / TRAINING INSTITUTE

KSSFCL

Spatial intent.
Measurable scope.

Architecture and interiors for a training institute for Karnataka State Souharda Federal Co-operative Ltd. in Mysuru. The programme brings together training facilities and an auditorium, offices and boardroom spaces, and accommodation. The scope spans building planning and facade design through interior design, tender drawings, specifications and an itemised bill of quantities.

My role: Lead designer + documentation lead
Package: Architecture and interiors for training, office and accommodation spaces; tender documentation, material specifications and BOQ

03 / HEALTHCARE RETROFIT

VR Clinic

Small footprint.
Careful coordination.

An interior retrofit converting two existing apartments into an outpatient clinic for two doctors. Reception, waiting, consultation, scanning and pharmacy functions are brought together within the existing building. Patient movement, the apartment layouts, structural constraints and services shaped the new interior.

My role: Project lead + documentation lead
Scope: Interior retrofit of two apartments: space planning, detailed sections, ceiling and lighting, MEP coordination, material schedules and BOQ

A home that opens
to the landscape.

A farmhouse and landscape project on a 10-acre plot in Appakudal, currently under construction. The scope includes the farmhouse, a new pond, landscaping and hardscaping across the site. Low pavilions and deep roof overhangs connect the home to its outdoor setting.

The building and outdoor spaces are designed together, with the pond, planting, paths and hardscaped areas forming part of the wider site design.

Architecture and interiors for Vinod Residence, named The Layered House, currently under construction. A composed street elevation brings together textured surfaces, timber screens and a generous roof. Inside, tall living spaces open towards planted edges, bringing daylight and greenery into everyday life.

Views between the living room, dining area and garden create continuity through the home. Warm timber and a restrained material palette link its interior and exterior spaces.

My contribution starts with resolving spaces, communicating design intent and coordinating buildable information. In Australia, I would apply those skills within the studio’s standards, consultant team and project review process.

Skills I bring Design intent made clear Use visualisations to test spatial options and coordinate façade, interior and material decisions.	Australian application & local checks Translate agreed design intent into the studio’s drawing and model conventions. Resolve glazing and fall-protection requirements under the applicable NCC alongside local planning controls.

HOW I WOULD CONTRIBUTE

From design intent to a reviewed package.

Establish the brief and local requirements with the project lead; develop drawings and models using the studio’s Revit and AutoCAD workflows; coordinate consultant inputs; track revisions and resolve review comments before issue.

Requirements depend on the applicable NCC edition, referenced Standards, building classification and state or territory provisions. Project-specific compliance would be established with the Australian project team.
